I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest.
I can, and have, spent countless hours simply perusing the copious amounts of useless stuff pinned to random boards. I’ll never get that time back. I often shake my head in disgust. I justify it with something about finding inspiration, finding pretty things, saving things for later. And it’s loads of inactive and disconnected fun.
I’m inordinately grateful that I’ve blocked access to the site and deleted the app from my phone. But I haven’t deleted it from my iPad…I still need that distraction. I still want it.
I don’t have space for a real pin board. Actually, I do, but I don’t think the hubs would appreciate it in an aesthetic sense. Pin boards are by nature cluttered. So Pinterest is my virtual pin board even if it’s loaded with useless stuff, stuff I’ll never use, do, look at again after pinning it. It satisfies a need to collect. It’s just a HUGE time suck.

SO true. Pinterest is truly the best evil thing out there.
So glad I’m not the only one who feels that way!
